Optical-Flow Tunnel Demonstration
A flight demonstration illustrating vision-based operation in a structured, constrained environment.
Technology Demonstration
Centeye used miniature aerial platforms to demonstrate what integrated vision sensing and embedded processing could accomplish under severe size, weight, power, and computation constraints.
Onboard Vision
These demonstrations show Centeye sensing and embedded-processing technology supporting fully onboard perception and reactive obstacle avoidance. Sensing and computation operated on the nano drone rather than depending on an external processing system.
The miniature platform imposed tight limits on payload, electrical power, and available computation. The work demonstrates how application-specific sensing and processing can be designed together when a conventional camera and downstream computing stack are impractical.

Engineering Evidence
01
Useful vision sensing and processing can operate within severe size, weight, power, and computation limits.
02
Coordinating sensors, optics, electronics, embedded processing, and algorithms can achieve combinations of capability and efficiency that are difficult with component-by-component design.
03
The underlying sensing and embedded-processing experience can inform technology developed, adapted, and integrated for other constrained products and platforms.
Technical Heritage
Some demonstrations shown here are historical. They document Centeye's longstanding work in application-specific sensing, onboard processing, and tightly integrated machine vision. The aircraft are demonstration platforms; the enduring value is the engineering approach and the vision technology it made possible.
