Harvard Robobees Project

We are developing a vision sensor system that will fit in a small flying robot about 2cm in size. Our final target weight budget is 25 milligrams, almost two orders of magnitude lighter than previous vision sensors.

Multiple Aperture Optical Systems

For this project we developed a wide field of view imaging system consisting of several Centeye sensors covering a hemisphere.

EyeStrip sensor ring mounted on modified eFlite Blade mCXVision-Based Hover in Place

Centeye has developed and demonstrated an omnidirectional vision system capable of “hover in place”, or holding a position in an environment for indefinite amounts of time.
